On the keyboard at my desk at work the labels of the keys are disappearing. At first it was just the 'C' key, but now 'V' is gone (oh no i can't apply for other jobs!) and substantial parts of the 'D', 'L', and ',' are endangered, along with left-'CTRL' and left-'ALT'.
The question is: where are they going?
Into my fingers?
I'd think my fingers were already saturated after thirty years of heavy typing.
Someday I'll need to write a macro to type my own initials.
>sigh< ... mondays...

Eew.
Eew. I've had the same thing happen to me. I've tried not to think about where the pain was going. Thanks a lot for bringing it up. :-)
I'm not into tattoos, but if I were ever going to get one, I'd have ASDF JKL; inked in reverse onto my fingertips...
Haw! That or "importthis",
Haw! That or "importthis", but that's a NameError...
I had the same problem...
...until I got a keyboard skin. I have the iSkin Protouch: http://www.iskin.com/protouch_overview.html but I notice that there are others in the market as well:
