Trends: Libraries Cache Content

It is a fundamental goal of librarianship to acquire resources to have them close at hand for community use
“with Morpheus/BearShare/etc I don’t even have to walk over to my cd cabinet anymore” doesn’t work with The Whole of Knowledge
Put another way, that it can be faster to ILL an article from across time zones than from the peer library next door (due to bureaucracy or what-have-you) doesn’t mean you won’t be glad it’s next door if the network shuts down
